A TikTok User Renamed ‘Star Wars’ Movies and Their Titles Really Make Sense Now

With the Rise of Skywalker released and available for sharp viewing on the Disney streaming platform, the Skywalker Saga is finally back. What started as a movie was released decades ago grew to include a prequel trilogy, a sequel trilogy, and even several animated television shows.

Each of the movies in the Skywalker Saga won titles like The empire strikes again and The Last Jedi. However, a teenager on social media suggested that these headlines do not accurately describe what happens during the respective movies. The video on TikTok gained thousands of views, mostly from fans who agreed to the name change.

Why do you have it Attack of clones be the title if the clones really attack long Sith Revenge? Why wouldn’t Rey be the “new hope” for the Jedis, instead of Luke Skywalker? A Star Wars fan at TikTok, known as Fake Disney Factors, decided to rename these movies so that they actually make sense.

The Creator explains that first Star Wars movie in the Skywalker Saga, titled Phantom Threat should have been called Rise of Skywalker. (He explains that it’s a much better name to describe a movie where fans literally met Skywalker on his journey to be a Jedi.)

On the other side, Rise of Skywalker should be called Phantom Threat (How else would viewers describe the graceful role of the resurrected Palpatine, but as a “ghost threat?”) In the meantime, TikTok changes all the titles of Star Wars films to better reflect their story.

Mark Hamill, the actor behind Luke Skywalker, also agreed. After seeing TikTok, he tweeted on Twitter, “NOW everything makes sense!” Tweet won over 75,000 likes from Star Wars fans all over the world.
