Kim described the relationship between the two leaders as a “fantasy film,” according to the book’s description.
Woodward’s book is scheduled to be released on September 15, just seven weeks before election day.
“In the key points of the decisions, ‘Rage’ shows how Trump’s responses to the 2020 crisis were rooted in the instincts, habits and style he developed during his first three years as president,” the book’s description reads.
Woodward’s book is drawn from hundreds of hours of first-hand witness interviews, as well as from participants’ notes, emails, diaries, calendars, and confidential documents.
The cover of the book features a close-up shot of half of Trump’s face.
The book follows Woodward for the first time in Trump, entitled “Fear: Trump in the White House.”
Trump said that in January he was interviewed by Woodward after he had refused to be interviewed for Woodward’s first book on his presidency.
