It’s time for JoJo Fletcher to practice best, “This is final the night rose, all. “
Fletcher, who directed Season 12 of bachelorette, will temporarily complement longtime host Chris Harrison during the next cycle of the 16th show.
As first reported by On Javore, Harrison was asked to self-quarantine for 14 days after abandoning his son, Joshua, to college in Texas. (Scroll down to see Harrison’s Instagram post about the big move.) Thus, Fletcher will take over as host for two weeks while the show is in production at a California resort. A source points out On Javore that Harrison “will be back in time for the final shows.”;
TVLine has approached ABC and Warner Bros. for comments.
Fletcher first joined the ABC Date franchise as a contestant in Ben Higgins season Bachelor, where she ended up as a candidate for Lauren Bushnell. Then she gave the roses herself bachelorette, eventually choosing Jordan Rodgers in the season finale; the two are still engaged.
But this is hardly the only shock that is happening in it bachelorette this season: Rumors started rolling earlier this month that Clare Crawley, who was set to star in Season 16, found love with one of her husbands too soon and did not want to continue with a full season of dating. Tayshia Adams, a favorite fan from Colton Underwood season Bachelor, ostensibly brought in as the new chairman, and new rumors suggest that franchise alumni Becca Kufrin and Hannah Ann Sluss could be included in Season 16, as well.
ABC has not yet commented publicly on the cast rumors, though a new promotion seems to confirm a turnaround behind the scenes of some sort.
