A few days ago Apple announced a new and improved 27-inch iMac. Not a new design and no ARM chips under the hood – just a series of CPU, GPU, camera and audio updates, with greater storage and memory options. All told, it’s too small of an update to guarantee a full review, in our humble professional opinion, but we wanted to give you some impressions.
And what better way to tell that story than through the new webcam, which opens up to 1080p resolution (finally) and promises low-light performance improvement. Actually, that condition you see has me in my apartment with the lights off; it’s just the webcam and the light from a nearby window that does all the work.
