Florida COVID-19 rights: 550,901. The death toll is 8,765



The Florida Department of Health on Wednesday confirmed 8,109 additional cases of COVID-19, bringing the state-recognized number to 550,901. Another death toll of 212 residents in Florida brings the death toll from nationwide to 8,765.

A new non-resident death was also reported in the state, bringing the number of non-resident deaths to 133.

Confirmed COVID-19 Cases in South Florida

Miami-Dade County reported 4,1

41 additional confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 30 new deaths, according to the Florida Department of Health. The county now has 139,227 confirmed cases and 1,939 deaths.

Broward County reported 475 confirmed additional cases of the disease and three new deaths. The county now has a total of 64,080 known cases and 859 deaths.

Palm Beach County without 293 additional confirmed cases and 14 new deaths. The county now has 37,934 confirmed cases and 954 deaths.

Monroe County reported eight additional cases of the disease and no new deaths, according to the health department. The Florida Keys now have 1,556 confirmed cases and 13 deaths.
