- The Google Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5 5G may have broken overlays in a flowing image.
- It looks like the Pixel 4a 5G will be bigger than the flag.
- Google is expected to release the Pixel 4a standard today.
The Google Pixel 4a was widely unveiled in 2020, and we’re ready to unveil it later today. This phone is not expected to be a 5G model, but it looks like the two 5G Pixel phones may have broken the cover yesterday.
Serial Advisor Ishan Agarwal shared an image (via Samsung Bloat) apparently showing Pixel 5 5G on the left and Pixel 4a 5G on the right. Look at the picture in the tweet embedded below.
I made a print. I’m sorry. Rubbed metal, the smallest phone is the Pixel 5 5G, on the left. One on the right is the Pixel 4a 5G which is larger with a power button. https://t.co/KcJfHB0Ptf

Agarwal suggests that the Pixel 4a 5G will be larger than the standard model, essentially making it a Pixel 4a XL in all but the name. Here we hope Google adds a bigger battery for both phones, as the 5G connection tends to extend battery life in a big way compared to 4G.
The photo also shows what appears to be a very similar camera to the two phones. Google added a secondary camera to the Pixel 4 series last year, so it would not be a surprise if both phones continue this trend. Then again, leaked images of the Pixel 4a standard show a camera housing that is similar to the Pixel 4, but the budget phone is expected to pack a single rear camera.
Samsung Bloat account holder also claims that the Pixel 4a 5G will retail for $ 500 on launch, while suggesting it could be equipped with the Snapdragon 765G processor. This account does not have any long records, so it is worth taking these leaks with a pinch of salt.
