Trump executive actions cause confusion among businesses, state officials; Democrats attack them as ‘inaccessible’
President Trump’s new executive actions to distribute coronavirus relief without congressional approval sparked confusion and frustration Sunday among businesses, Democrats and state officials, some of whom lamented the moves would not provide the necessary relief for Americans caught with money.
The Trump directives were intended to provide new unemployment benefits, protect tenants from eviction, and delay the payment of a federal tax. But some economists and experts have blamed these policies as incomplete or legally controversial ̵
