The concert took place during the 80th anniversary of the Sturgis Motor Rally, a massive event that historically retreats about 500,000 people in the area. Sturgis city officials told CNN this year’s event would be a scaled-down version of the rally where health guidelines such as social distance are recommended.

The band was one of several performers scheduled to make an appearance at the Sturgis Buffalo Chip camp, about three miles outside the city of Sturgis.

In the video captured by CNN contributor KOTA-TV, a large crowd can be seen cheering during the show, with few masks in sight and no social distancing.

At one point in the concert, a member of the band addresses the crowd can be heard saying “F *** that Covid s ***”

Camping camp, which has often played a central role in celebrating the 10-day event has added to security precautions this year, owner Rod Woodruff previously told CNN, including signs reminding guests of social distancing and keeping sanitized hands.

Late last month, the Sturgis Buffalo Chip announced that it had added more events to attendees including stunt shows and concerts. Several thousand people camp in the country, Woodruff said.
