Satellite study reveals melting point of ice shelves in Antarctica



Ice that hangs from the edge of Antarctica and swims in the ocean is melting faster than it is refilling, and even in the pockets of East Antarctica it is commonly thought to be less sensitive to climate change, according to a study published Monday.
