NASA astronauts Robert Behnken and Douglas Hurley crashed safely in the Gulf of Mexico on Sunday afternoon aboard SpaceX Dragon Crew “Endeavor” completing a 27.1 million mile two-month mission to the International Space Station on the SpaceX Demo-2 agency mission. August 2, 2020, the collision at 2:48 p.m. EDT off the coast of Pensacola, Florida, marked for the first time a commercially built and operated crew spacecraft returning from the International Space Station.
