EL PASO, Texas – Public health officials announced Monday morning that seven more people had died from Covid-19 in El Paso County, killing the death toll at 300.
All the deceased had basic health conditions. They were identified as:
- A woman in her 60s.
- A man in the 70s
- A woman in her 70s.
- A woman in the 80s.
- Three women in the 90s.
Officials reported 88 new cases Monday, bringing the total number of pandemics to 16,396.
101 new recoveries have been listed, which means that a total of 12,047 people have recovered. However, studies show that those who recover can face long-term effects from contracting the virus.
Officials reported that hospitalizations due to the virus were reduced from 211 to 198. The last time the number of hospitals was below 200 was on July 3rd.
They indicated that 73 of those patients were in the intensive care unit while 41 were in ventilators.
