But if you are willing to decide with the wrong program, you will find great new features to watch. The most noticeable improvement of WatchOS 7 over watchOS 6 is the addition of tracking. The update adds an app that will tell you how long you slept the night before – though it does not yet include a split sleep cycle yet.
Apple has also updated the Activity app. It is now called Fitness and includes more accurate calorie tracking for activities such as functional strength and basic training. Apple Maps now includes support for cycling directions ̵1; just in time to reopen Google Maps on the platform. Of course, no wearable update in 2020 would be complete without some hand washing feature. WatchOS 7 comes with automatic hand wash detection that will let you know how much time you need to clean your hands.
