The last remaining store in the world Blockbuster is taking an extreme advantage … it is turning into a rental property for an epic end-of-year sleep !!!
Here is the deal … Sandi Harding, the only surviving Blockbuster manager in Bend, OR, is turning the store into an Airbnb in just 3 nights … and the once-in-a-lifetime experience sounds pretty delightful.
The 3 lucky people who grab one of the reservations are for a different sleep than ever before … they take the store keys – literally – and can watch movies to their heart’s content in an improvised living room of complete with a pull-out sofa, bean bag, lamps and pillow.
Movies are not fun without snacks … and this blockbuster sleep includes free pizza, Pepsi, candy and popcorn, plus everything else you want to bring.
The entire movie collection of the store depends on the hijackers, plus video games as well. Oh, and there is a VHS player, as long as you remember how to work it !!!
reservations are available starting Monday at 1 PM PT, but you must be a Deschutes County resident to book Blockbuster for one night only. Night sleep is scheduled for September 18-20 and the place accommodates up to 4 people.
Sandi says she wants to thank the local community for supporting the only surviving Blockbuster survivor in the world, which is why it is being rented to locals only and costs as much as $ 4.
Blockbuster is full of nostalgia of the ’90s, but here is a harsh memory it’s still a lot 2020 … the guests were provided with a pack of face masks, wipes for disinfectant and endless sanitizer.
