A new PS5 report has adored PlayStation fans a lot about the console supposed to have power. According to a new report, not only will the PS5 be more expensive than the Xbox Series X, but its lack of power compared to the Xbox keyboard is reported to be causing developers headaches. More specifically, the keyboard seems to have problems running games in 4K.
The report comes as a way of intelligence and industry discoverer, Dusk Golem, who claims that they have heard that not only Microsoft has the most powerful keyboard with Xbox Series X, but also the cheapest keyboard. The insider does not release any specifics regarding the price of the other gene machine, nor does it specify how much cheaper the Xbox Series X will be, but they warn PlayStation fans should be prepared for this news.
“People need to be prepared for the really real possibility that the PS5 will end up being the most expensive console between the two,”; the streamer tweeted. “I’m trying not to say too much here, as I was asked not to prepare yourself.
The hijacker continued, noting that the PS5 is struggling with 4K games, which could result in a lot of 4K “false” on the keyboard:
“This puts the Xbox Series X in a position where the keyboard will be less expensive and more powerful. I used Resident Evil 8 as an example, but I have heard from other developers that the PS5 struggles with 4k games in particular, so you will see a lot of fake 4k. It does not matter to some, but be prepared for it. The Xbox Series X does not have the same problem. “
Unfortunately, this is where the report ends. That said, Dusk Golem later clarified that this is simply what they heard anecdotally while talking to the developers. In other words, get everything with a grain of salt. Nothing here is official information, and even if it is accurate, it is also subject to change. Further, for all of us we know it is outdated.
At the time of publication, Sony has not commented on this latest report regarding its keyboard, and it is unlikely to have. Rarely does the PlayStation creator comment on the rumors and reports of this variety.
The PlayStation 5 is scheduled to release sometime this holiday season. At the moment there is no word on a price point.
