Discovery’s “Shark Week” returned Sunday, and Air jaws: Last violation helped start the annual tradition. This last installment in Air jaws the series featured shark experts competing to capture the best images of a great white shark breach.
All the experts used different methods to catch a shark offshore off the coast of Seal Island, South Africa. While one expert tried to capture an image of the night, another used a drone camera to document their attempt. But it was Chris Fallows and his traction camera that got the most spectacular offense.
The 15-meter kick was a new serial record and a monumental moment for Fallows. “The picture you dream of,”; he said. “They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Well, that picture is worth a thousand violations.”
Viewers at home were also amazed by the spectacle, as many were sent to Twitter to spread their concern.
