The Xbox Series X is launching in November.

We finally know when we will see the next Xbox – Microsoft will launch Xbox X Series this November. The tech giant unveiled the launch month on Tuesday and it will deliver on the promised holiday season timeframe 2020, though there is still no word on pricing.

We may even have a stronger date; packaging in a liberated X Series controller tells retailers not to sell or display equipment until Nov. 6, according to The Verge.

Keyboard news came with a warning as one of the biggest console launch titles – Halo Infinite – will be delayed in 2021 as it would initially target a similar window for the 2020 holiday release. Follow some fans expressing concern regarding the game footage after a July gameplay demo.

Microsoft on Tuesday announced the refined keyboard release window via a blog post, possibly to help mitigate the Halo Infinite delay hit. 343 Industries, the team behind Halo Infinite, announced the delay on Twitter:

Halo Infinite, which will also be released for Xbox One and PC currently available, is supposed to feature bigger and more visual battles than any previous game in the series. The first halo was released back in 2001 for Xbox origin. Original developer Bungie eventually left the franchise to work on Destiny, another popular shooter series, but 343 Industries has been at the helm of Halo since 2011.

Even with the launch of Infinite driven in 2021, Microsoft promised that there would be “thousands of games to play, including four generations, when the Xbox Series X launches globally this November.” There will also be “over 100 optimized for Xbox Series X titles, built to take full advantage of our most powerful keyboard” coming this year.

Undoubtedly Halo Infinite is one of the big draws for the new Xbox console as it prepares to compete with the upcoming PlayStation 5 by Sony – Halo is one of the most popular exclusive franchises for Microsoft. Its announcement highlighted many other titles coming to the console meanwhile and promised the ability to play games on all four generations of the Xbox.

The PlayStation 5 is also expected this holiday season, along with a Game Miles Morales Spider-Man game. Sony has not reduced the release date and, like Microsoft, has not yet announced prices for the keyboard.
