There are many things I could tell you about Otterbox’s new stand for third-generation Amazon Echo Dot smart speaker. I can tell you about its “durable materials” or how it was created to “safe” hold your Echo device. The Amazon listing even claims that “its accurate, non-slip base” is “designed for optimal audio output”.
But you and I both know that neither of them really matters, because what really matters here is that this base adds the little Emmy-appointed little ears Yoda * to the sides of your Echo Dot . If you want to claim that you are actually talking Mandaloriani character whenever you ask Alexa to set a timer, then this is (probably) the easiest way to do it.
The stand has been made by Otterbox, a company best known for its smartphone cases, but which has also released a number of interesting gadget accessories over the years. There are wireless chargers set that she announced last year, or phone cases that came with integrated PopSockets-style PopGrips.
The OtterBox Stand for Baby Yoda Amazon Echo is available for pre-order on Amazon now, with an expected release on August 20, for $ 24.95. For those who keep notes, this is a little less than half the cost of the Amazon Echo Dot itself. The stand was created just to work with the third generation smart speaker.
* Yes, I know the character is technically called “Child”, but please, please, live a little.
