Cambridges are on vacation! Kate Middleton and Prince William have taken their children – Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis Is to the Scilly Islands, an archipelago off the coast of Cornwall in south-west England, as mirror reports. An insider told the newspaper, “They decided on a quick departure before the kids went back to school. They were eager to support our travel industry.”
Locals have already spotted the royals, as the family rode their bikes to the island of Tresco. And it sounds like they are in great spirits: said a passerby mirror“William and Kate were riding their bikes, laughing. They looked so happy enjoying the weather.” They added, “I made a double. They were really friendly and said hello.”
What makes the trip so special? Forst a nostalgic for William, who vacationed in the Scilly Islands as a child with parents Princess Diana and Prince Charles and brother Prince Harry. Ask yourself if he is introducing the Cambridge kids to his favorite childhood spots?
The choice of destination also served a practical purpose. Kate and William reportedly were considering a move elsewhere in Europe, but chose to stay in the UK amid the coronavirus crisis. The current blockade measures require the British to quarantine at home for two weeks after visiting specific European countries, and this would be a major problem for Cambridges, who have recently resumed their public duties as labor kings. Fortunately for them, the UK is currently experiencing a heat wave – so, much like me, they can just imagine being in Spain.
